New emojis are bundled with system updates for i OS and Android, as emoji fonts and relevant Unicode support is provided at an OS level These aren't old phones not getting updates: they're brand new phones running an out of date OS. Looking at Emojipedia statistics for the start of 2017, the lack of Android users running any new version is stark.
Just 4% of Android users are using any variation of 7.x Nougat (released in August-September 2016), resulting in 96 out of 100 Android users not seeing the latest emojis: Google's own statistics on Android version share show worse results with under 1% using Android 7.0 Nougat.

Yet the vast majority of Android users still can't see these new emojis.
I've already tried moving around the joints with "G" to check that everything is indeed connected. You should be able to drag and drop pictures into the reply box. Also, post the netlist file if this doesn't help you. If I run drc and check the unconnected pads, it seems there is no net including any of the resistors and the component "J2".
(As a new user you can only post one picture per post.) Now to your real problem: I noticed that sometimes pcbnew does not update the view correctly. You can also try to switch between opengl and legacy canvas. If this does not help we might need more information. Would this suggest the problem does lie in the file? shunt_(2.9 KB) In the netlist you can see that J2 is not connected to the shunt.
If someone could explain A) what it means; and B) how to fix it, I would be extremely grateful.
It means you're trying to merge changes from somewhere, but the changes include modifications to a file that's dirty (currently modified in your working tree).
